My Story
Hello, I’m Sezin — a Positive Psychologist, Coach, and Mental Health Advocate.
My journey into psychology began in 2013, when I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology. Guided by a deep passion for understanding the human mind and helping others grow, I went on to earn my Master’s degree in Positive and Coaching Psychology in 2020.
Over the years, I’ve dedicated my work to empowering people to create positive change, overcome life’s challenges, and build resilience. My career has taken me across various areas of mental health and advocacy — from supporting individuals in hospitals and care homes to leading advocacy teams that uphold human rights and mental health awareness. I’ve had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life, including those with disabilities, cognitive impairments, and mental health conditions — experiences that have taught me the true power of empathy, understanding, and listening.
Alongside my advocacy work, I’ve been running my private therapy and coaching practice since 2018, helping individuals navigate a range of challenges such as anxiety, relationship issues, confidence-building, goal setting, and personal growth. I also hold an Independent Advocacy Qualification with a specialism in Mental Capacity Advocacy and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, and I’m a qualified Safeguarding Lead, delivering safeguarding training to organisations.
At MindlyCorner, I bring together everything I’ve learned — from evidence-based psychology to real-world compassion. Here, I share wellbeing tips, tools, and resources, along with blog articles that raise awareness and fight stigma around mental health. I also offer 1:1 sessions, workshops, and group trainings designed to support individuals and organisations in building healthier, more resilient, and compassionate communities.
Above all, I believe that everyone deserves the chance to feel heard, supported, and empowered to thrive — and MindlyCorner is my way of helping make that happen.
